Sculptra® in Atlanta, GA

If you’re in and around Buckhead, Vinings, and Sandy Springs and seeking a non-surgical cosmetic treatment that provides long-lasting natural-looking results, consider Sculptra®, an injectable filler treatment provided by the Atlanta Center for Breast and Aesthetic Surgery.

What Is Sculptra®?

Sculptra® is an FDA-approved injectable filler specifically formulated to increase volume in areas of the face affected by aging. As the aging process continues, the volume in the face can decrease, resulting in a sunken, older appearance. Sculptra® targets volume loss by enhancing and smoothing the contours of the face through injectable fillers. Sculptra® is a favorite among our clients who want to see amazing results after just one appointment. In addition to immediate benefits, Sculptra® is long-lasting. When administered by an experienced specialist, such as Dr. Work, clients can see improvements for up to two years as skin tissue is restored.

Benefits of Sculptra®

Sculptra® benefits our clients by enhancing the volume of the cheeks which results in a more youthful, healthy appearance. When compared to many other fillers, the primary benefit of Sculptra® is the longevity of the results. Cheek injections with alternative fillers might need additional maintenance appointments in as little as six months, but with Sculptra® results can last for 24 months.

Who Is a Good Candidate for Sculptra®?

Sculptra® is a safe, effective procedure suitable for most individuals frustrated by a loss of facial volume. Almost any adult man or woman that has noticed wrinkles, lines or a loss of volume in the face will make an ideal candidate for this treatment because it’s minimally invasive and has very little risk. As an alternative to more intensive procedures, such as a facelift, our clients enjoy the Sculptra® treatment because there is no downtime.

How Should I Prepare For Sculptra®?

Before Sculptra® treatment, you will have an individual consultation with our doctor, Dr. Work. Dr. Work will work with you to determine your desired outcome, medical history and treatment plan. During this consultation, you will need to tell Dr. Work about any allergies or other medical conditions you have that could affect the injections. You will also need to inform Dr. Work of any medication that you are taking or recent injections you have received so he can minimize the chance of any adverse reactions from the procedure. All patients should avoid alcohol and anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), such as ibuprofen and aspirin, for at least four days before a Sculptra® appointment.

How Is Sculptra® Administered?

Sculptra® is administered as an injectable solution in tiny, medical-grade needles. Before administering the injections, Dr. Work will begin your treatment by first applying a topical anesthetic to the sites so that you feel absolutely no discomfort. Once the sites are completely numb, Dr. Work will then inject the predetermined doses of Sculptra® just under the outermost layers of skin. In some cases, Dr. Work will recommend more than one Sculptra® treatment appointment to achieve the desired outcome.

How Much Does Sculptra® Cost In Atlanta?

The cost of Sculptra® varies among patients depending on the injection sites, number of appointments and solution needed. Additionally, Sculptra® is a cosmetic treatment, which means that it will generally not be covered by your health insurance. To help with the cost, the Atlanta Center for Breast and Aesthetic Surgery accepts a wide variety of payment options, including personalized financing plans. Our office also accepts checks, cash, and all major credit cards.

The Atlanta Center for Breast and Aesthetic Surgery is proud to serve residents in and around Buckhead, Vinings, and Sandy Springs.
